I read most of the 9 books of 'the Ringing Cedars' (often called the Anastasia books), whilst recuperating from a broken arm. I highly recommend them for the quantity and quality of ideas. Their impact on Russian society has been very interesting. They are fuelling a back to the land movement that is feeding the country. This should be news around the world... but of course it isn't... yet.
