Playing with magnet balls is highly addictive.  You have a choice of 3mm or 5mm balss. I prefer the  5mm ones (or the 4mm but for some reason its hard to find them these days).Also I recommend at least 3 of these kits to have enough to let your imagination and fingers run wild. They are made from a neodymium core, (the strongest natural magnets), and electroplated to give a nice shiny smooth surface. This is a cute little set. I use about 5 kits at once. It is a lot of fun. Beyond that many the tiny errors in the length of the sticks start to add up and make it harder to create perfect geometries. Strong magnet sticks with unmagnetised balls.(You dont actually want the balls magnetised for this kit because you want the sticks to be able to go in any direction) These are a lot of fun. This is a classic game that I am yet to fully understand the strategy of despite having played it for decades! The rules are so simple (and Google-able).One player is white and one black. Each takes turns in placing one circle of their color on the board and reversing any of the other players circles that are caught between two of their own circles.Wait a minute... its simpler to play than to explain!  If you need a primer try this quick video :-) Some people take the game quite seriously as you can see from this Youtube Channel of lessons...
